Bradley A. Howell, age 46, of Enterprise, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Quitman, Mississippi.
Born in Channelview, Texas, to Denise Reeder Howell and Millard Howell, Jr., known as J.D., Bradley trained as an apprentice welder with the boilermakers. He was a dedicated member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 455 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 619 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. A devout Catholic, he was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Bradley found joy in many pursuits. He loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes, gardening, crafting, and seeking out quiet adventures. An avid music lover with wide-ranging tastes, he also cherished time outdoors fishing, camping, and antiquing. He possessed a deep compassion for the poor and marginalized, especially those facing homelessness and despair, and quietly helped anyone he saw struggling. His Catholic faith was central to his life; he held special devotion to the Saints and studied his beliefs with great care.
He is survived by his son, Samson Howell; daughters, Bradlee Jo and Mattie Ruth Howell; the mother of his children, Freddi Howell; his mother, Denise Reeder; his brother, Justin Howell; his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Leona Reeder; his uncles, Wayne Reeder (Cheryl) and David Miles (Linda); his aunt, Wendy Peet (Joseph); and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Millard and Ruth Howell; his aunt, Diane Smith; and his sister-in-law, Pamela Howell.
