Goshen, IN
Bradley A. Miller, 76, of Goshen, Indiana, passed peacefully on March 14, 2026, at The Restoracy of Goshen after a long, courageous battle with dementia.
Born on August 14, 1949, in Bremen, Indiana, to Edward R. and Velma (Stutzman) Miller, Brad was united in marriage with the love of his life, Cheryl Speicher, on June 20, 1970, in Middlebury, Indiana. Their marriage spanned 55 beautiful years.
A man of deep faith and quiet strength, Brad lived each day as a genuine reflection of God’s mercy and grace. As a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, mentor, and friend, he carried a warmth that made everyone around him feel seen, valued, and loved. Nothing brought him greater joy than his family. He cherished every season of life, delighting in the laughter of little ones, the questions of growing children, and the deep conversations shared with teenagers and young adults. He invested his heart fully in those he loved, always offering a gentle smile, steady encouragement, wisdom, and a listening ear.
Brad began his career as a history teacher, fueled by his lifelong love of history. He later worked at First State Bank before answering a call to ministry. He served faithfully as pastor of First Mennonite, Midland Mennonite, and Marion Mennonite churches, providing compassionate leadership and care to each congregation. In his later years, he continued his ministry through church relations work at Everence Financial, guiding individuals and communities in stewardship and faith.
He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Miller, his father, Edward R. Miller, and his brother, Kevin Miller.
Brad is survived by his devoted mother, Velma (Stutzman) Miller; his loving wife, Cheryl (Speicher) Miller; his son, Matthew (Candi) Miller; his daughter, Sarah (Matthew) Holzinger; his daughter of the heart, Darlene (Derek) Kennedy; and his Italian son, Alex (Serena) Melli. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Alexis (Daniel) Flores, Asher Kennedy, Ava, Blaine (fiancée Sarah Harmelink), and Caelan Miller, Alexi (Owen) Princell, Jackson, Easton, and Roman Holzinger, and Sophia Melli. He leaves behind brothers Mark and Jon (Christy) Miller, sister Maribeth (Bob) Rhodes, brother-in-law Dean (Charlene) Speicher, sister of the heart Doris Speicher, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
