Bonnie Sue Tuttle Key

Bonnie Sue Tuttle Key, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her home. Born on March 6, 1948, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, to the late James Henry “Buck” Tuttle and Hazel Horton Tuttle, Bonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in the company of her family, especially her grandsons.

She had a deep love for animals, particularly her dogs and horses, and cherished quiet days at home tending to her garden. A true homebody, Bonnie lived a simple, grounded life centered on the people and creatures she cared for most.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy “Tim” Key, and her granddaughter, Tatum Elisabeth Welborn. Bonnie is survived by her son, Dusty Welborn (Kristi); stepson, Anthony Mitchell; grandsons, Tanner Welborn and Tate Welborn; brothers, Sammie Tuttle (Liz) and Dannie Tuttle (Sandra); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
