Bonnie Crabtree ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium on Mar. 17, 2026.Bonnie Sue Crabtree, 80, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.She was born on June 21, 1945 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of George and Eleanor (Knipprath) Shaw. Bonnie was a 1963 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. She married Larry Crabtree and he predeceased her on April 18, 1986. Bonnie spent the last 39 years with her longtime love, Duane Thomas.Bonnie was formerly employed as the Marketing Director of the Beloit Mall and later as the Property Manager for Caldwell Banker in Janesville. She could often be found reading, doing needle point, and watching the Hallmark Channel. Bonnie enjoyed attending numerous car shows. She cherished spending time with her "Girls Weekend Group" which got together annually for out-of-town trips.Survivors include her children, Michael (Judy) Crabtree, Jason Thomas, Brenda (Mike) Kuhlman, and much-loved fur kid, Tucker; grandchildren, Tyler Crabtree, Meaghan Crabtree, Bailey Thomas, and Shiloh Kuhlman; sister-in-law, Pat Shaw; nieces and nephews, Sherry (John) Watkins and Scott (Patricia) Shaw; beloved cousins, Judith Finley, Brian (Jodi) Sailing, and Tanya (Jeff) Faber; special friends, Jackie Ommodt and Tammy Ziemer; other extended family members and many dear friends.Bonnie was predeceased by her parents; son, Joseph Crabtree; brother, George W. Shaw; maternal grandparents, Joseph (Grace) Knipprath; aunts, Josephine Rouse and Carole (Gerald) Sailing; in-laws, Joseph and Ann Crabtree.A Private Family Graveside Service for Bonnie will be held at a later date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
