It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Richards of Florence, Colorado, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Rhoads and Ruby Rhoads; her sister Laverne Newhouse; her husband Lee Richards; her children, Tracy Gingerich, Jill Snyder, Jacque Forsberg and Tony Richards; and her great grandchild Adam Holt.

She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Rhodes and Sherry Johnson (Gary); her son Kelly Richards (Laurie); her adoptive daughters, Tiann Richards and Megan West (Matt); and her grandchildren, Bonny Lehmer (Eric), Rachel Bergeman (Tyson), Sarah Hobson (Jake), Raelle Forsberg, Chelsy Forsberg and Jeff Mares (Sebrina). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church (303 E 3rd St, Florence, CO 81226).
