Bonnie Kay Belless

Mrs. Bonnie Kay (Conner) Belless passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on October 30, 1942, in Canton, Illinois, she was the daughter of Gordon and Margaret (Hardesty) Conner.

In March 1959, Bonnie married the love of her life, Junior Belless. She worked as a food service manager for hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. She also raised miniature and Shetland horses, and found great joy in traveling, especially to Hawaii, New Orleans, and Branson. She loved raising flowers and cooking for family gatherings, and she held a deep Christian faith.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Belless; her son-in-law, James MacLaren; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Gordon Belless and his wife Christine, of Lewistown, Illinois; her daughters, Sherry MacLaren of Clinton and Tammy Belless of Evening Shade; three grandchildren, Jared Belless and his wife Melissa of Cabot, Dominique Eddins and her husband Dustin of Little Rock, and Natasha Evans and her husband Justyn of Yorktown, Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Rowan, Aaron, and Riley, and one on the way, Aiden; and special friends Gary and Shawna Oltjenbruns, along with other family members and a lifetime of friends.
