It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie Jane Larsen, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on December 1, 1936, in Indianapolis to the late Oscar Virgil Kizzee and Ollie Anna (Klepper) Harding. Bonnie dedicated her life to her family and her community, leaving a legacy of love that will carry on through the generations.A proud graduate of Mooresville High School in 1955, Bonnie embodied the values of devotion and kindness. As a homemaker, she cherished the time spent nurturing her family and was known for her incredible ability to create a warm and loving environment. She found joy in her home, through activities such as crocheting, baking delightful treats, crafting, and singing praise to the Lord through her favorite Christian songs.Bonnie was a lifelong member of Town Center Church in Mooresville, where she formed lasting friendships and enjoyed the fellowship of her community. She also loved visiting the Mooresville Senior Center, where her warm spirit and genuine smile positively impacted those around her. Bonnie had a heart that was as big as her talents, and she will be remembered for her selfless nature, sweetness, and the quiet strength she exhibited in all aspects of life.Bonnie leaves behind her loving children: George Dryer (Suzanne) of Fishers, Beki Hawkins (Gene) of Warsaw, Brian Dryer (Krysti) of Las Vegas, NV, Sheila Parsons of Morgantown, and Ed DeWeese (Julie) of Warsaw. She was blessed with an ever-growing family, including 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, each of whom held a special place in her heart.Bonnie is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Neil Larsen; her first husband, Jack DeWeese; her parents; and her siblings: eight brothers, Robert, Gordan Dean, Joseph, James, John, Virgil, Walter, and Donnie Kizzee; and three sisters, Catherine Jones, Mary Kehl, and Violet VanSickle.Family and friends may gather from 1-2pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Town Center Church, 218 East Main St. Mooresville, IN 46158. Elwyn McDonald will officiate the funeral service following the visitation at 2pm at the Church. Bonnie will be laid to rest next to 1st husband, Jack DeWeese during a private graveside service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service, Mooresville.In this time of sorrow, let us remember Bonnie for the abundant love she shared and the beautiful memories that live on in our hearts. Her spirit remains a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
