Bonnie Cannie

Bonnie Nell Hayes Cannie, 67, of Columbus, GA, passed away March 16, 2026, at the Gardens of Calvary. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Cannie was born April 06, 1958, in Fayetteville, NC, the daughter of the late Raymond Hayes and Jean Ganus Barnes.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Cannie, her brother, Ronald Hayes, and her niece, Megan Hayes.

Survivors include her children, Dennis Urban (Angela) of Columbus, GA, Shaun Cannie (Madeline) of Harris County, GA; grandchildren, Landen Urban of Columbus, GA, Abigail Urban of Columbus, GA, Shelby Cannie of Harris County, GA, Bayleigh Cannie of Harris County, GA; brother, Donnie Hayes; her best friend, Jan Porter of Phenix City, AL; sister-in-law, Colleen Hayes of Sylva, NC; nieces, Erin Aiken of Sylva, NC and Kate Keener of Gastonia, NC.
