Bonnie Blizzard

1950 — 2026

Manchester, GA

Bonnie Gertrude Blizzard, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faith. Born to Ennis Key Sr. and Fannie Belle, Bonnie carried the values of family, strength, and compassion throughout her life.

A woman of creativity and devotion, Bonnie possessed a special talent for sewing and quilting. With patience and care, she stitched beautiful quilts that warmed both homes and hearts, each one a reflection of her love for her family. She also found great peace in nature and especially enjoyed the quiet, reflective moments spent fishing.

Above all, Bonnie cherished her family. Her gentle spirit and kindness touched everyone around her, and she made those she loved feel welcomed and valued. She is survived by her children, Larry James Mashburn, Tina Annette Hobbs (Harry), and Laurie “Missy” Barfield; her sisters, Lucy Jump and Johnnie Mae Hampton; grandchildren Robert Shirley, Heather Phillips, Aaron James Mashburn, Kaitlyn Mashburn, and Chelsea McCullough; and great-grandchildren Natalie Shirley, Nathan Bratcher, Harper Anne Bratcher, Anchor McCullough, Raelynn McCullough, and Devon McCullough.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Skeeter, as well as Wayne Goff, Freeman Goff, Maise Hadden, Willie Joe Key, and her granddaughter Jennifer N. Bratcher. Bonnie’s warmth, strength, and the love she so freely gave will remain with all who knew her.
