High Point, NC
Bonita Renai Boger, affectionately known as Bonnie, passed away on March 5, 2026, at WFBH High Point Medical Center in High Point, North Carolina, after a lengthy illness. Born on February 3, 1968, in Camden, New Jersey, to Rose P. Boger and the late Herbert Eugene Thomas Boger, Bonnie grew up in Camden, where she excelled academically and graduated from Camden High School in the Class of 1986. A gifted musician, she played the piano, violin, flute, and clarinet, and proudly participated in the marching band all four years of high school. She also shared a passion for bowling with her brother Anthony, and together they filled a trophy case with their accomplishments. Bonnie attended Trenton State College in Trenton, New Jersey.
Later in life, she moved to High Point, North Carolina, returning to the area where her father and paternal grandparents had lived. A hardworking and courageous single mother, Bonnie thrived in roles that involved public contact, building a career in customer service, hospitality, and sales within the hotel and retail industries. Most recently, she was employed by Citi Trends in the Triad area while maintaining several part-time positions to provide for herself and her family. Even as her health declined, she remained smart, lively, and quick-witted, qualities her loved ones will always remember.
Bonnie is survived by her mother, Rose P. Boger of Camden, New Jersey; her four sons, Jaaron Boger of Oakland, California, Devon Boger of High Point, North Carolina, Dominic Boger of Camden, New Jersey, and Jontae Boger of Greensboro, North Carolina; four beloved grandchildren, Adrian, Za’Kari, Tristen, and Hezekiah; her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony Eugene Boger and Ayana Jordan-Boger of Camden, New Jersey; and many members of her extended family, including cousins, uncles, and aunts. She also leaves behind dear friends Monica Alford of High Point, North Carolina, and Samantha Rivera of Greensboro, North Carolina. Her family, who loved her deeply, feels she left this world too soon, even as they honor the will of Almighty God.
