Bonita Price

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonita Price (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Shirley Barta; her husband Dick; her foster fathers, Carlos Hodge and Elmer Hodge; and her parents, Phyllis Price (Ramsey) and William A. Price.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Paula Price of Willard, Ohio.; her siblings' children, Jackie Hanna, Dianne Krumbholz, Richard Barta, Robert Barta, Cindy Smidt, Susan Riggle, Angela Schulte, Kelly Steffen, Pam Price, Melanie Giannetto, Matthew Price, Laura Price and Rebecca Price; her brothers, Donald, Russell and Phillip; her sibling-in-law Sandy; and her friend Darlene.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be directed to the family for donation to the activity fund at Corridor Crossing Place.
