Bonita Claire Michaud
August 22, 1949— March 10, 2026
Iron Ridge, WI
Bonita Claire Michaud, age 76, of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on August 22, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Henry Sr. and Dolores M. (née Petrusek) Michaud, Bonita grew up in a close-knit family and carried that deep sense of love and devotion with her throughout her life. She worked as a receptionist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Milwaukee and later at Kohl’s Food Store, Kettle Moraine Coatings, and several other places. Known for her friendly nature and kind heart, she brought warmth to every role she held.
Family was the center of Bonita’s world. She cherished traveling with loved ones and creating lasting memories together, always serving as the family photographer who made sure every special moment was captured. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and card games—especially 500—making homemade fudge, spending time with family and friends, and trying her luck on the slot machines at the casino.
Bonita will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her siblings, Ronalee Huntington, Henry Jr. (Andrea) Michaud, Glenn (Sandy) Michaud, Bernadette Janke, Gregory (Brenda) Michaud, and Cherie (Phil) Gruber; her brother-in-law, Charles Setzke; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Sr. and Dolores; her twin sister, Anita Rose Michaud; her sister, Claudine Setzke; her brother-in-law, Bernard Huntington; and her nephews, Steven Setzke, Joseph Gruber, and Jeffrey Michaud; and her niece, Tiffany Gruber.
