He is survived by: his wife Glennis Trecek of Belleville, KS; his children, Troy Trecek of Salina, KS and Tammy Bruns (Kevin) of Sugar Land, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan Bruns (Samantha) and Ashlyn Bruns (Ely); his sister Joan Holmberg; his sibling's children, Jeff Holmberg (Kristie), Dan Beneda (Nancy) and Deena Khosh (Farhang); and his sister-in-law Nancy Beneda. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home (1322 19th St, Belleville, KS 66935). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the United Presbyterian Church (1713 N St, Belleville, KS 66935). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2731 Queen Rd, Cuba, KS 66940.
