He was a sawer for the former sawmill in the Blackwood community of Wise County, Va. Bobby loved weightlifting, motorcycles, hiking, and was a general handyman. He was a loving husband, father, son, and sibling. He was a Christian.He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Rose (Polly) Elliott; siblings, Charles, Doris, Loretta, Margie, and four other sister's; special cousin, Mike Powell and his wife Pie; and special friend, Mark Bobrosky.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shella Elliott of the home; son, Bobby Ray Elliott, Jr. of Big Stone Gap; numerous nieces and nephews; special brother-in-law, Hubert "Bud" Summers; "adopted" granddaughter in spirit, Kendra Garrett; and special friend, Sarah Bobrosky.Bobby requested cremation and no formal services be held.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
