June 22, 1966— March 10, 2026
Bobby Harold Griffin II, known affectionately as Barry, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 59. Barry was known for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He had a special gift for making people smile and truly never met a stranger. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he touched countless lives through his compassion and genuine care for others.
Barry loved sports in every form. He enjoyed playing softball and golf, and he was an enthusiastic fan who loved attending high school, college, and professional sporting events. Whether playing, watching, or cheering from the stands, sports remained a meaningful part of his life.
He also cherished time outdoors, finding happiness in yard work, hiking, camping, and spending time on the beach. Barry had a deep love for animals and a natural appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors. Above all, he was a loyal friend and a devoted family man who placed his family at the center of his life. At the age of 14, Barry gave his life to Jesus, a faith that remained an important foundation throughout his years.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Griffin. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Griffin; his mother, Jackie Griffin; his sister, Patti Lilly; and his niece, Lauren Slaathaug. Each of them, along with many extended family members and friends, will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Barry will be remembered for his warm heart, his laughter, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. His legacy of love, friendship, and faith will live on in the lives of those who knew him.
