Bobby Eugene Dye

Bobby Eugene Dye, 94, of Culleoka, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his residence.

Born on April 28, 1931 in Davidson County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Euel Garfield Dye and the late Myrtle Novolene Wilkins Dye. On December 29, 1951, Bobby married the love of his life, Mary Lou Webb, and together they shared 74 devoted years of marriage. He worked for many years in the maintenance department at Occidental Chemical Company and later retired from the Maury County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator and road grader. A longtime member of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Bobby lived a quiet, steady life rooted in hard work and family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Webb Dye of Culleoka; his son, Mark Dye of Culleoka; his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane Love and Tim Love of Columbia; two grandchildren, Chris Dye and Jonathan (Tara) Dye; his brother-in-law, Tony (Patricia) Collins; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Eugene Dye, and three sisters, Sue Martin, Janice Marie Duke, and Linda Boyd.
