Grier, age, 75, passed away at 10:24 AM Monday, March 16, at his home. He attended Piney Grove Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran who loved his family dearly.He is preceded in death by parents Ardell and Pearl Grier, Brother, Jerry Grier, Stepsons Terry and Wayne Harris, and Granddaughter, Ashley Harris.Survivors include wife of 38 years, Ann, Sisters Pat Glancie and Rita Hudson of Jasper, Georgia, Stepdaughter, Tammy (Darrell) Green of Kingston, Georgia, Stepson Phillip (Lorrie) Harris of Tellico Plains Grandson Steven (Nancy) Harris, Great-granddaughter, Ashlyn of Cartersville, Georgia, Great-grandsons Trevor and Trenton Harris of Adairsville, Georgia. Special niece, Sherry Hall, and Special friend, Kay McDaniel, as well as several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.The family will receive friends at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 24. A graveside will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Rev. Ollie Lankford officiating.
