Middletown, DE

Bobby Carrol Reuling, born on November 10, 1954, at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 71. After a courageous battle with cancer, Bobby left behind a life marked by resilience, hard work, and deep devotion to family and country. He grew up in the Brookside community, graduated from Christiana High School with the Class of 1973, and went on to serve his country as an Engineer, Equipment Mechanic, and Repairman in the United States Army. He later built a long career at General Motors, retiring with a reputation for diligence and pride in his work.

A man of strong faith, Bobby was known for his spirited, chatty nature and his generous heart. He found joy in fishing, boating, rug making, and tackling home projects of all kinds. He especially loved working on cars, often helping with brake jobs for his daughter. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and friends, always ready to lend a hand or share a story.

Bobby was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Reuling Sr., his stepmother, Anna Reuling, and his faithful companion, Sienna. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Cesario (Bryan Messick) and Nikki Cutillo; his son, Andrew Pierce; his brothers, Calvin Reuling and Richard Reuling Jr.; his sister, Sue Reuling Davis; and his cherished grandchildren, AJ, Tyler, Olivia, Samantha, Giada, Antonia, and Valentina, along with many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry his memory forward.

His love, generosity, and zest for life touched everyone who knew him, and his spirit will continue to live on through the countless memories he created.
