Bobby Alan Sweitzer

Bobby Alan Sweitzer, 56, of West Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his sister’s home in Lake Ariel. Born in Kingston to James and the late Marlene Guilford Sweitzer, Bobby graduated from Wyoming Area High School in 1988. He went on to build and operate his own lawn care and handyman business, taking pride in his work and the independence it gave him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother and his life partner, Darlene Swithers. He is survived by his father, James Sweitzer of Franklin Township; his children, Bobby (Destiny) Sweitzer of Jenkins Township, Sean (Kelsey) Sweitzer of Nanticoke, and Kristopher Sweitzer of Wyoming; his sisters, Lynn Rosengrant of Lake Ariel and Deborah Douglass; his brother, Thomas Jeffery; four grandchildren, a niece, and several nephews.

Those who knew Bobby will remember a man who lived on his own terms, devoted to his family and comfortable in the roles of father, brother, and friend. His presence brought a steady, unassuming warmth to those closest to him, and he leaves behind a family that will carry his memory with love and respect.
