She was born March 30, 1935 in Fruithurst to the late James Amon Moore and Gladys Godwin Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Lanford D. Wilson; daughter, Felecia Hammond; sister and brother-in-law, Eunice and Cooter Coggins; and brother and sister in law, Euell and Louise Moore.Mrs. Wilson graduated with the Cleburne County High School Class of 1953 and was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Church of God in Fruithurst. She was a devoted Army wife for over 22 years. She also worked at Smith's Thriftown for many years and late in life went back to school to become a CNA. Bobbie was a friend to everyone; sharing her spunky personality and humor with all she met.She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Patricia and Steve Gatlin, of Mobile, AL, Benita and Bruce Cash, of Fruithurst, Jennifer and Matt Denman, of Carrollton, GA, and Kent Hammond, of Roanoke, AL; son, Michael Wilson, of Muscadine, AL; grandchildren, Haley and Eric Normand, Trenton and Crystal Gatlin, Miles and Elizabeth Gatlin, David and Randa Cash, Jobeth Hunt, Lenny Hunt, Amon Hunt, Malachi Hammond, Devan and Joey Sprayberry, Lorin and Jonas Dickerson, and Madison Denman; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Corrado, of Heflin, AL; brother and sister in law, Randall and Faye Moore, of Carrollton, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00PM EST at the Mt. Olive Church of God with Rev. Gary Phillips officiating. Music will be provided by Rachel Phillips. Gentleman serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Trenton Gatlin, Miles Gatlin, David Cash, Lenny Hunt, Amon Hunt, and Malachi Hammond. Interment will follow in Campground Methodist Church Cemetery.Her family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 11th, between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00PM EST.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
