Bobbie Dell Rigsby, born on July 23, 1939, in Chidester, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on March 7, 2026, after a long illness. The daughter of Donnie and Brodie Ingram, she grew up in Arkansas and spent many years as a cook at Auburn High School before retiring. A devoted member of Providence Baptist Church, Bobbie was known for her warm presence and the steady love she showed her family and community.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Sally) Rigsby and David Rigsby Sr., her daughter, Michelle Rigsby, five grandchildren, David “Dada” Rigsby Jr., Coty Rigsby, Maurice “Ray-ray” Rigsby Jr., Nydraisha Geeters, and Dejanee Geeters, bonus grandchildren Mar’Nisha Geeters and Margaret “Peaches” Horton, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Louis (Wilmer) Ingram, Duane Ingram, Jeffery Ingram, and John Ingram, her sisters Eva Proctor, Joyce Ingram, Kathy Ingram-Henry, Brenda Ingram-Reynolds, and Glenda (John) Ingram-Pascal, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including her special niece Jahnisha Ingram.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her son Maurice L. Rigsby, her grandson Mario Rigsby, and her brothers Thomas, Benjamin, Donald, Harry, and Larry Ingram.
