It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobbi Marie Christensen of Flandreau, South Dakota, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob VanDam and Goldie VanDam; her siblings, Rodney, Steve, Valerie and Kathy; and her pet Molly.

She is survived by: her husband Dick; her children, Lisa Jorgensen (Scott) of Colman, SD, Denise Schmidt (Bill) of Dell Rapids, SD, Angie Eide (Paul) and Steve Christensen (Jodi) of Rosemount, MN.; and her grandchildren, Jordan Krogstad, Miranda Tricarico (Brittany), Jessica Thornell (Ryan), Casey Schmidt, Ethan Schmidt (Caitlyn), Ryan Schmidt, Cameron Eide, Lauren Eide, Kayden Christensen and Brady Christensen. She is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home-Dell Rapids (104 E 4th St, Dell Rapids, SD 57022). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home of Dell Rapids (104 E 4th St, Dell Rapids, SD 57022).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dougherty Hospice House and Avera Cancer Institute.
