He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgia; his children, Amy Bilak (Mike), Jill Whalen (Mike) and Todd Van Vossen (Stacey); his grandchildren, Nyah, Kaden Bilak, Luke, Chloe Whalen and Jacob Van Vossen; and his siblings, Marilyn McGuire and John Van Vossen (Trudy). He was also cherished by his pets, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
