Bob Lewis

Bob J. Lewis, age 98, of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and formerly of Stanley, North Carolina, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born in Gaston County, he was the son of the late John E. Lewis and Inez B. Lewis.

A longtime member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, Bob lived a quiet and faithful life. He shared 65 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Geneva Riddle Lewis, and was a devoted father to his children. He was preceded in death by his wife, his son Alan Lewis, and his brother Frank Lewis.

He is survived by his daughter, Janice L. Clark and her husband David, his brother Fred Lewis, and his nieces Judy Childers, Joyce Elmore, and Donna Freeman. Those who knew him will remember a man of deep faith who cherished his family and lived with quiet strength and conviction.
