Bob Lee Shea

Bob Lee Shea Sr., 95, of Tuscola, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2016. Born in Perry, Oklahoma, on June 19, 1930, to John and Gladys Shea, Bob grew up in his hometown and began working in the oilfields around Perry after high school. He married Patsy Ruth Price on December 23, 1948. In 1952, he joined the Marines and was stationed in San Diego, California.

As a lifetime oilfield pumper for Anadarko Production, Bob and his family lived in Jacksboro, Iraan, Albany, and Haskell, Texas, before moving to Eunice, New Mexico. Upon retirement, he settled at Possum Kingdom Lake and later made his home in Tuscola, Texas. A quiet man of integrity, Bob worked hard to provide for his family and found joy in hunting and fishing. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Tuscola.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy, his parents, and his sister June. Bob is survived by his son Bobby and wife Gail of Tuscola; son Richard and wife Janet of Mineral Wells; grandson Jason Shea and wife Kari; granddaughters Lindsay Megee and husband Phillip, Kriste Underwood and husband Daryl, Shannon Shea, and Stacy Robinson and husband Todd; and great-grandchildren Sydnee and Ellie Shea, Bryce and Dylan Jones, Bodie and Shea Adams, and Jackson and Kirby Robinson.
