She was predeceased by: her husband Shelby Wayne McNeal; her parents, A. G. Thomason and Elnora Evans Thomason; and her siblings, Allen Thomason, Dewey Thomason, Danny Thomason, Horace Thomason, Mary Roberts, Ella Mae Ballard and Cathy Peeler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kristie Hale (Pete) of Hornbeck, Tracey Lacombe (Scott) of Effie and Angie McNeal of Ball, Louisiana; and her sister Sally Russell of Melrose. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harmony Church (1366 LA-1207, Deville, LA 71328). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
