Le sobreviven su esposo, Luis Alberto; su hijo, Jonathan; sus hermanos Vincent Elizalde (Carolina), Anthony Vences (Liz), sobrinos, y su segunda mamá, Juanita Martínez de Vences. Además de sus tíos/tias, y primos/primas y amistades de toda una vida bien vivida.
A sus 44 años, ella ya había dejado una huella profunda en todos nosotros. Fue una hija, una madre, una hermana, una sobrina y amiga ejemplar. Su amor por su familia era evidente en cada conversación. Tenía la capacidad de hacer sentir especial a cualquiera y su espíritu alegre iluminaba cualquier lugar.
La pérdida de Blanca nos deja un vacío enorme, pero también recuerdos maravillosos que reviviremos siempre. Gracias por cada risa, por cada abrazo y por ser una parte fundamental de nuestra familia.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Blanca Rosa Vences de Hernández, 44, of Houston, Texas, who passed away on March 10, 2026. She was born on March 22, 1981, in Brownsville, Texas, the daughter of Francisco J. Vences† and Blanca Rosa Machado†.
She is survived by her husband, Luis Alberto; her son, Jonathan; her brothers, Vincent Elizalde (Carolina) and Anthony Vences (Liz); her nieces and nephews; and her second mother, Juanita Martínez de Vences. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who were part of a life well lived.
At just 44 years old, she had already left a profound mark on all of us. She was an exemplary daughter, mother, sister, niece, and friend. Her love for her family was evident in every conversation. She had the ability to make anyone feel special, and her joyful spirit brightened every place she entered.
The loss of Blanca leaves a tremendous void, but also wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you for every laugh, every embrace, and for being such a fundamental part of our family.
Today we say goodbye, but we will never forget you. Your strength and love will live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, our beautiful girl.
