Born April 18, 1935, in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Federico F. Ortega and Angelina Martinez Ortega.Mrs. Brock was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed walking, being outdoors and taking care of her yard, sewing and reading.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Laverne Brock, Jr.; and several siblings.Survivors include one son, Freeman Brock, III of Alexandria, VA; one brother, Ramon Ortega; one sister, Olga Ortega; one granddaughter, Cheyenne Brock of Fredericksburg, VA; and one grandson, Freeman Brock, IV of Fredericksburg, VA.A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with Rev. Gary Raulerson, officiating.The family will receive friends Monday, March 23, 2026, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
