Billy Ray Viars of Richlands, Virginia, passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 70. With his vibrant spirit and warm presence, he touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter Carr Viars and Mae Marie Viars (Hackney); his siblings, Darrell Gene Viars, Walter Junior Viars, Freda Sue Viars, Juanita White, Ella Mae Viars Proffitt, and Loretta Viars; his daughter, Linda Mae Viars; and his grandson, Cameron Heath Viars.
Billy is survived by his children, Rita Marie Mullins, Sandra Kaye Sparks, Jessie Viars, Logan Viars, and Billy Ray Viars, Jr., as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
