He was predeceased by his parents, Walter Carr Viars and Mae Marie Viars (Hackney); his siblings, Darrell Gene Viars, Walter Junior Viars, Freda Sue Viars, Juanita White, Ella Mae Viars Proffitt, and Loretta Viars; his daughter, Linda Mae Viars; and his grandson, Cameron Heath Viars.
Billy is survived by his children, Rita Marie Mullins, Sandra Kaye Sparks, Jessie Viars, Logan Viars, and Billy Ray Viars, Jr., as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
