Billy Ray Taylor, Jr.

Billy Ray Taylor, Jr., age 67, passed away at his residence on March 15, 2026, after an extended illness. He was born in Ware County on December 14, 1958, to the late Billy Ray Taylor, Sr. and JoAnne Harris Taylor. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his wife, Angela Bratcher Taylor; brother, George Allen Taylor and his sister, Judy Crawford.

He served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his sons, Matthew Alvin Taylor (Victoria) of Alma and Billy Ray Taylor, III of Pearson and his mother, Pat; daughters, Christy Rae Taylor of Alma and Tiffany Jackson (Andrew); brothers, David Randall Moore of Alma and Benjamin Taylor; sisters, Theressa Palmer Taylor of Bickley, Peggy Hutcheson, and Michelle Taylor, both of Nicholls; nephews, George Randall Taylor Bazemore and Mack Allen Taylor; niece, Kattie Mack Taylor; grandchildren, Micheal, Logan, Gracie, and Leah Taylor, Krystal, Julysa, and Gabriel.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
