Billy Bartlett ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Nichols Funeral Home - Addison on Mar. 15, 2026.The following obituary has been lovingly written by Billy Joe's family.Billy Joe Bartlett, age 82 of Hartselle, formerly of Addison, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.Billy Joe is survived by his loving wife Cyndy of 39 years; children, Betsey Joe Holland ( Irvin), Tommy Joe Bartlett, Darryl Joe Bartlett( Deanna), Chandra Adair (Alan) and Renee Loyd ( Terry); grandchildren, Essie Joe Holland, Tyler Joe Bartlett( Haley) Todd Taylor (Jennifer), Keisha Harris (Derek), Ryan McAnear, Chelsey Rusk (Daniel) and his sister Linda Hayes (Jerry) and sister in law Orlene Bartlett. A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Ray (Marbalene) Bartlett, Bobby Jack Bartlett, Limas Bartlett, and Ilene Bartlett.Pallbearers will be: Allen Ellis, Dewayne Hampton, Irvin Holland, Wes Holland, Joey Parker, and Shandy Porter. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Phillip Beasley, Jerry Hayes, Robert Kilgrow, Alan McNew, Jeff Payne, J.P. Theilmann and Bill Tittle.The family would like to thank CRMC Home Health and Hospice of the Valley.Services will be held at Addison Church of God on Wednesday, March 18th. Visitation will be from 10-11AM. The funeral will be at 11 AM with burial in the adjoining cemetery following the service.
