Billy Jack Jackson
June 14, 1973— March 6, 2026
Lexington, OK
Billy Jack Jackson, born on June 14, 1973, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Lexington, Oklahoma. Raised by his mother Jackie and her first husband Daryl Studdard, Billy was the first grandchild in the family and was lovingly spoiled, often jokingly called “rotten.” He grew up surrounded by a close-knit group of aunts, uncles, and later many cousins, creating countless shared memories. He attended McLoud and Pernell schools.
On December 13, 1993, Billy married the love of his life, Lisa Jackson, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered on family. After Lisa’s passing in 2012, Billy devoted himself to raising their children with steady, loving care. He worked in construction for many years, most recently alongside his Uncle Mike at Jackson Drywall. A true jack-of-all-trades, Billy could repair, build, or figure out almost anything. He found joy in spending time in his garage, always working on a project or tinkering, and staying busy came naturally to him.
Billy had a deep love for music, especially classic rock and grunge, with Pearl Jam holding a special place in his heart. The band was meaningful to both Billy and his daughter Sarah, and their music helped carry them through some of life’s hardest moments, including the loss of Lisa and his son Jordan. Above all, Billy cherished his time as “Papa” to his grandchildren. Fishing trips, hours in the garage, and simple everyday moments with them became treasured memories. His granddaughter Elisabeth fondly remembered his homemade goulash.
Billy taught those around him to never take time with loved ones for granted. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his willingness to help others, his passion for music, and his deep devotion to family.
He is survived by his daughter Sarah Lambert and husband Jeffrey of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; his mother Jackie Studdard and husband Gary Blankenship of Elmore City, Oklahoma; his sister Jennifer Studdard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren Elisabeth Gail and Samuel Jack; bonus granddaughter Kinslee Renee; aunts and uncles Mike Jackson, Mark Jackson, Lorrie Ray, and Sheila Moorer; and many other friends and family.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife Lisa Jackson, his son Jordan Jackson, his father Daryl Studdard, his uncle Matt Jackson, and his grandparents Jack and Lou Jackson.
