Billy J. Adams, Sr.

Billy J. Adams, Sr., 76, of Ottawa, passed peacefully on March 6, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. A lifelong Ottawa resident, Billy was preceded in death by his parents, William F. “Bill” and Margie (Scott) Adams, his younger sister Brenda Kaye Adams, brother-in-law Neil Snook, and a great niece.

He is survived by his children, Angie (Adams) Spears, whom he called his “little girl,” and Billy Joe Adams, Jr., both of Ottawa; his sisters Debbie Snook, Marilyn Adams Reed, and Pat; his brother Max D. Adams; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Billy often said he had the perfect childhood growing up in Ottawa. To his sisters, he was a big brother to all and a fierce protector. He adored his parents, loved the Chiefs, his many dogs, Harley rides, and the close friends and family who filled his life. He will be deeply missed.
