Billie Marvin Lively

Billie Marvin Lively, 93, of McHenry, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2026, of natural causes.

Born on June 8, 1933, in Harlan County, Kentucky, to Albert and Lula (née Jarvis) Lively, Billie married the love of his life, Helen Sue Lively, on October 16, 1957, in Hancock County, Tennessee. He cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Billie enjoyed going out to breakfast and was known for striking up conversations with anyone he met, often sharing stories from his life and the many places he had traveled.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky, Micky (Olga), Nicky, Randy (Tracey), and Sandy, all of McHenry; his grandchildren, Michelle (Nathan), Renea, Wade, Kyle, Nicky Jr., Justen, Krystle, Joshua, Dalton, Ashley, Shelby, Connor, Alyssa, and Jimi; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Sue Lively; his parents, Albert and Lula Lively; his father-in-law, Troy Fox, and mother-in-law, Georgia Fox; his first grandchild, Jason Lively; his granddaughter, Shelby Lively; and his great-granddaughter, Arianna Lively.
