He was a longtime resident of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.Billie dedicated much of his life to serving others. He served his country in the United States Army and later retired from the National Guard. He also spent 22 years in law enforcement, faithfully serving his community as a police officer and retiring with the rank of Captain. Throughout his career and life, he was known as someone people could depend on-always willing to help whenever he was needed.Billie loved staying active and spending time with his family, who meant everything to him. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to those he loved, and his willingness to always be there for others.He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Carol Williams; his children, Amanda Gayhart and husband Rick Gayhart, and Stephen Williams and wife Suzanne Williams; his grandchildren, Casey Ladd, Johnna Ladd, and Allie Williams; and his great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, Hudson, and Riley.He is also survived by two sisters, Patty Miller and Betty Grubbs; one brother, Don Williams; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Effie Williams, and his brothers, Paul Williams, Boyce Williams, and Harold Williams.Billie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
