Billie Leitzel ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Millersburg on Mar. 17, 2026.SELINSGROVE - Billie Dale Leitzel, 52, of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center with family and loved ones by her side.Born June 19, 1973, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Billie was the daughter of Billy Dale Leitzel and Judith Ann (Kissinger) Leitzel, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a 1991 graduate of Line Mountain High School and went on to earn her Associate's Degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology and her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University.Billie worked as a registered nurse at Lewisburg Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. Despite facing significant health challenges throughout her life, Billie met those challenges with strength and determination. Her warmth, humor, and resilient spirit touched the lives of many.She is survived by her siblings, Linda Mitzel and husband Gary, Toni Sponsler and husband Kevin, and Douglas King and wife Colleen; her nieces and nephews, Braxton, Adderly, Owen, Dillan, and Lexie; her loving companion, Jim Reed; and her beloved dog Austin, who brought her great joy and companionship.Billie will be remembered for her vibrant personality, caring heart, and the happiness she brought to family, friends, coworkers, and patients. Her life was a testament to perseverance, kindness, and hope. Those who knew Billie will always cherish her courage, her laughter, and the joy she shared with everyone around her.The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:00 am at Millersburg Assembly of God. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Northumberland Memorial Park.The family requests that memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.Arrangements are being cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral.
