Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 88. He was born on May 21, 1937 in Pine Creek, West Virginia to loving parents, Retta and Willard Johnson.Bill grew up in the mountains of West Virginia, a place he held close to his heart. In time, he made his home in Floresville, Texas, where he built a life alongside his beloved wife, Jane Johnson. In their younger years, Bill and Jane shared a love for adventure and the open road, proudly riding together as members of the GWRRA Motorcycle Club. Their travels and experiences created many cherished memories over the years.Bill was a hardworking man whose kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was also a devoted member of Northview Baptist Church, where his faith remained an important part of his life. His gentle spirit, warm heart, and genuine sincerity touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Johnson; his parents, Retta and Willard Johnson; his son, Marty Johnson; and his aunt and uncle, Sam and Mabel Stevens. He is survived by his loving sons, Jody Johnson and David Johnson, and numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Memorial service details will be announced soon.
