Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Russell & Margaret Eastland and sister, Elaine (Larry) Marsha. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 ½ years, Carl "Spike" Kapperman; her 2 loving children, Russell (Elizabeth)Kapperman and Lynne (Michael) Carpenter; 5 grandchildren, Thomas (Jenna) Kapperman, Margaret (Wylan) Radcliffe, Molly Kapperman, Daniel Peek and Christopher Ryan Walters; 2 great grandchildren, Kayde and Valerie Kapperman and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, located at 608 Lions Club Rd. in Wendell NC.The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Pauline, Michele, Monica and Florah for the wonderful care, love and kindness they have shown her in the last year. They have become extended family as well and she loved each of you.Beverly was a devout Catholic who, when she was able, would do weekly adoration at the St. Catherines of Siena where she also was a proud member of their silver lining group. She was a long-time active member of the Zebulon Rotary club where she probably started and rang the bell for the Salvation Army. She truly had a servants heart for giving. She was a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and had a clinic named after her in Ghana, Africa.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rotary International in her honor or Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory of Wendell NC.Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W.
