She was born in Paris, Kentucky, to Edna and Jerry Jordan.Beverly shared a special bond with her siblings: Sandra (Whit) Criswell, Becky (Johnny) Fay, Larry (Pam) Jordan, Jerlynn (Dr. Erwin) Lyons, Jackie (Dr. William) Cox, and Barbara (Barrie) Fischer.Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was deeply rooted in her faith. She shared 57 loving years of marriage with her husband, Nolan Barger. She supported him throughout his basketball coaching career and could always be found cheering in the stands during games and helping with basketball camps. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.She was a longtime member of Southland Christian Church and later Northeast Christian Church.A devoted mother, Beverly is survived by her beloved sons, Brad Barger and his wife Melissa of Verona, Kentucky, and Brent Barger and his wife Ashley of Lexington, Kentucky. She spent much of her life taking her boys to church, school events, and countless sports practices and games.She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren-Hadley, Nolan, Blakelee, Shelby, and Boston-whom she loved dearly. They knew her as "BB," and she found great joy in spending time with and spoiling each of them.Her faith guided the way she loved her family and served others. She treasured her role as an aunt and loved her nieces and nephews deeply. She lived with quiet strength, a generous heart, and a deep trust in the Lord.A visitation will be held Monday, March 2, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, from 11am to 1pm The service will begin at 1pm, with burial to follow at Lexington Cemetery.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
