Born on February 19th, 1933, in the vibrant city of Minneapolis, to the late Harold and Anna (Anderson) Boman. Beverly grew up surrounded by the rich traditions and close-knit communities of her hometown. Her early years instilled in her a spirit of energy and determination that she carried gracefully throughout her life. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School in Robbinsdale, MN, and then worked for Ford Motor Company, Chas. Saucier Manufacturing, and was co-owner of Northstar Ballroom in Carlton, MN. She was married to Marvin G. Masterman on September 7, 1975, and was the mother of 3 children and 4 stepchildren.A true lover of music, Beverly found her greatest joy in the lively rhythms of polka, often seen dancing with friends and lighting up every room she entered. Her passion for dancing was matched only by her creativity-Beverly cherished knitting and crocheting, lovingly crafting treasures for each of her cherished grandchildren. Every scarf, hat, and blanket was a testament to her devotion and her knack for turning simple yarn into tokens of comfort and love.Those who knew Beverly will remember her as an energetic fighter, always meeting life's challenges with unwavering strength and optimism. She touched countless hearts with her infectious laughter, generosity, and zest for life. Beverly's spirit will live on in the memories of her family and friends, in the music that filled her home, and in every handmade gift that keeps her love alive.May we all take comfort in knowing that Beverly's dance continues-in our hearts, in our stories, and in every joyful moment we share in her honor.Beverly is survived by her children: Robert Fry (Tondra), Deborah Brooks (John), Ronald Masterman, Gary Masterman and David Masterman, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, stepson Glen, sister Lois Nelson, her parents, and in-laws.Funeral Service for Beverly will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Elim Lutheran Church in Barnum, MN, with a time for visitation one hour before the service.
