Beverly Jean Woods

Beverly Jean Woods of Clio, Michigan, passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on August 7, 1935, in Bay City, Michigan, to Percy and Virginia Pendred, Beverly grew up in Bay City and graduated from Handy High School with the class of 1953. She married Lawrence Woods on November 20, 1954, in Bay City, beginning a loving marriage that spanned 71 years.

A longtime member of St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church and the PTA, Beverly found quiet pleasure in embroidery, playing cards, and coloring. Above all, she cherished her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her the deepest joy.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Woods; her children, Corrine (Mike) Wineland, Chaundelle (Tim) Goodhue, Cathy (Tony) Clemons, and Larry (Michele) Woods II; her grandchildren, Angie (Shannon) Cameron, Melissa (Dennis) Bristow, Ryan Goodhue, Haley (Josh) Bukoffsky, Kyle (Nicole) Woods, Zach Houser, and Trent (Kayla) Woods; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Patricia Sylvester and Edward (Mary) Pendred, along with several nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Cindy Johnson, her granddaughter Lindsay Ebner, and her sister Corrine McNally.
