Beverly "Bev" Biggin

Beverly Biggin, 84, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 3, 1941, in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William and Sophie Niemi. Beverly devoted her career to caring for others as a compassionate Registered Nurse. She took great pride in being among the first staff members to help open what is now known as Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital in Melbourne in 1986.

In 1962, Beverly married the late John W. Biggin, Sr. Together they built a life in Melbourne, raising their family and creating many cherished memories. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Franklin (Phillip) of Viera, Florida, and Lori Carollo (Christopher) of Palm Bay, Florida. Beverly also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Natasha Shahbaz and Alexa Carollo, her great-grandchild Astera, and a second great-grandchild expected in October 2026.

After retiring from nursing, Beverly found deep joy in sewing and embroidery. She possessed a remarkable talent for creating beautiful pieces and took pleasure in sharing her handiwork with family, friends, and all who admired it. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the caring spirit that defined her life.
