She was born on August 28,1948 to the late Bernard and Lula Gooding. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James Dwayne Kougher.Beverly is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry S. Kougher; her son, Larry "Buddy" Kougher; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Kougher-Venable; her grandson, Aaron Kougher; her great-granddaughter, Lily Kougher-Venable; and her brother, Bernie Gooding (Meredith).Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 18,2026 at Mt. Elon Baptist Church at 12PM. The family will receive friends at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Mt.
