Beverly Ann Greig

Beverly Ann Greig, née Vieira, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, at the age of 76. Born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Clarice (née Donn) Vieira. In 1985, Beverly immigrated to the United States, first making her home in New York, New York, before moving to Piscataway, New Jersey, four years ago.

She was the proud owner and operator of her own cleaning business and later worked for two years as a home health aide with FirstLight Home Care in North Brunswick before retiring. Beverly found quiet joy in watching classic films and reading. Her deep Catholic faith and close relationship with Jesus remained central throughout her life.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley Desmond Greig, who passed in August 1986, and her son, Nigel Anthony Greig, who passed on May 15, 2025, Beverly is lovingly remembered by her devoted daughter, Carolyne Sewell of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; her seven siblings, Malcolm DeSilva, Marcia Donn, Erol Donn, Tessa Nunes, Mario Nunes, Mark Nunes, and Carlo Robello; her cherished grandchildren, Courtney Soldano and Alexander Sewell; and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and her close friend Ercel Robertson.
