Beverly A. (Frigon) Smith

Beverly A. Smith, née Frigon, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on March 11 at the age of 71, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Thomas J. Smith, Sr., her daughters Jennifer A. Farrell and husband Kevin of Worcester and Shari A. Martelli of Nashua, New Hampshire, and her son Thomas J. Smith, Jr. and wife Gina of Leicester. She also leaves her brother Robert Frigon and wife Shari of Spencer, sisters Deborah Silliman of East Brookfield, Mary Wyne of Spencer, and Susan Lydick and husband Dennis of Spencer, as well as her cherished grandchildren Jesse Farrell, Sabina Crowley, Meredith Martelli, Samuel Martelli and wife Paige, Sarah Martelli, and Michael Mallozzi, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born in Worcester to the late Donat and Joyce (Jolly) Frigon, Beverly was raised in Spencer and graduated from David Prouty High School in 1972. A longtime member of Mary Queen of the Rosary Parish and the Spencer Fish & Game Club, she worked for many years as a Human Resources and Office Manager at Crocker Architectural Sheet Metal in Oxford, retiring in 2018.

She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her deep love for her family, and the steady, caring presence she brought to everyone who knew her.
