Betty Sue Bramblett Goodrich, a beloved figure in her family and community, passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on June 16, 1944, Betty's vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Goodrich.Betty was a devoted mother to her daughter, Angela (William) Ohmer, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Tiffany (Tyler) Eggleston, Joshua Ohmer, Emily Ohmer, Tim (Jen) Jacobs, Charity (Butch) Brumback, Brandy (Chris) Michelletti, Sarah (Robert) Brock, Gena (Ryan) McCormick, as well as many great grandchildren. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she had a unique nickname for each of them, showcasing her affectionate and creative ways of expressing love. Betty is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth (Gene) Goodrich, with whom she shared many fond memories over the years.Betty had a passion for sewing and quilting, often dedicating her time to creating beautiful, handmade pieces that brought warmth to her family. She also enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts, showcasing her creativity in every project she undertook. Among her many joys, Betty had a profound appreciation for music, particularly the songs of George Jones, which resonated deeply with her and brought pleasure to her life.Visitation for friends and family will be held on March 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Funeral Homes, 202 N. Main Street, Owenton, Kentucky 40359. A funeral service will follow on March 11, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM at the same venue.
