A service of remembrance will be Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service at Gray Memorial Chapel, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia. The Rev. Keith Goodlett and Rev. John Haney will officiate. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens, 720 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia.Betty was born on, November 22, 1940, to the late Frank and Frances Smallwood Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Williams and brother Van Foster.She graduated from Jones County High School and was a faithful member of the Pitts Chapel Methodist Church for nearly seventy years. Betty served as the church treasurer for many years and played the piano in her teenage years. She will forever be remembered for her loving devotion to her family and her kind heart. Betty was generous, thoughtful and faith filled. Her sense of duty will be a legacy to her family especially her grandchildren. A sense of duty to do what is right was a guiding inspiration: "Do what's right even when no one is watching". It can be said she lived a life, well lived guided by her Christian faith.Betty is survived by her loving husband of sixty-six years, Carl Reese, son, Craig and his wife Susan Reese, Roswell, Georgia and their children, Madeline Reese, New York, Colin Reese, Roswell, Georgia, Adam Reese, Bradenton, Florida and sister Faye Reese.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church, 132 Pitts Chapel Road, Macon, Georgia 31217.
