Betty R Dove

Betty R. Dove, 90, of Cordele, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Born to the late James Thomas Young and Robbie Lee Young, Betty found quiet joy in reading, working crossword and word search puzzles, and coloring. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched with gentle devotion.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Williams, and two grandchildren. Betty is survived by her daughters, Pam Killingsworth (Butch), Lynn Trussell, and Marie Powell (John); ten grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose steadfast affection for her family remained the heart of her life.
