It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise Owens of Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Douglas Owens of Marion; her parents, Joseph Houston Jones and Margie Griffin Jones; her daughter Crystal Cay Whitley; and her brother Bill Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Owens (Celestea) of Marion and Candace Huggins (James) of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Stacie Lewis (Lee), Jamie Owens, Matthew Noelke, Chase Levy (Kristin), Caylee Mills (Kevin), Dakota Atkinson, Courtney Peters (Jacob), Sydney Huggins and Jake Huggins; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Lewis, Haleigh Owens, Kennedy Mills, Reagan Mills, Emilia Levy, Rose Levy, Charlotte Peters and Lily Peters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins Mullins (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins Chapel (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574).
