Betty Louise Morgan

Betty Louise Morgan, daughter of the late Lamar Guy and Edna Singleton Guy McCaig, was born on September 25, 1945, in Dyersburg, Tennessee. On February 22, 1968, in Caruthersville, Missouri, she married William Jessie Morgan, who preceded her in death on January 27, 2009. She was a longtime member of the Jesus Name Tabernacle Church in Caruthersville.

Mrs. Morgan passed away on March 11, 2026, at her home in Caruthersville at the age of 80. She is survived by her daughters Betty Darlene Morgan, Peggy Josett, Judy Hudgens, Kay Ruby, and Regina Gail Burt; her sons Donald Morgan, Glen Morgan, Tommy Thompson, and John Morgan; her cousin Lena Holloway; her sisters Darlene Guy Ashbey, Ruby Guy Smith, and Margaret Childs; and her brothers Ora Lee Guy, Leroy Guy, David Guy, Everett Guy, and William Earl Guy. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, Delois Guy, Brenda Munt, and Sandy Kephart; three sons, Larry Morgan, William Morgan, and Sammy Morgan; her grandparents Ollie Andrew and Georgia Singleton; three brothers, Otis Lee, Jimmy Guy, and Kenneth Guy; and one sister, Shirley May Shelton.
